Does anybody else crave an ice cold cocktail when it is a million degrees outside? How about something frozen and delicious while you are sitting pool-side? Well, you’re in luck because I have put together five amazing cocktail recipes that are easy and so, so satisfying.
These summer cocktails are also perfect for a party and will definitely impress your guests. Whether you are a sweet, sour, or wine person, I am confident that one of these will be just what you need.
The first cocktail, and my personal fav...Strawberry Frosé! All you need is:
A bottle of your favorite rosé
Fresh Strawberries
Strawberry syrup
A lemon for juicing and garnish

This cocktail requires a little bit of prep the night before, but it is so worth it. Open your bottle of rosé and pour it into a large baking sheet. Cover with foil, and place in the freezer for at least 6 hours. Once frozen, remove from the freezer and place in a blender with a dash of strawberry syrup, a few fresh strawberries, and a couple squeezes of lemon juice. Blend together and garnish with a lemon slice and fresh strawberry. If you don’t want any extra sweetness, skip the strawberry syrup.
Another fun one, and perfect for a hot summer morning...Popsicle Mimosas! Here’s what you’ll need:
Champagne
Orange juice
Mint or berries (optional)
Popsicle maker

This one also requires some prep, but again, so so worth it. The night before, use your popsicle maker to make some OJ popsicles. I also added berries and mint into mine because it looks pretty and tastes even better. When you are ready to drink them, pour yourself a glass of bubbly and stick a popsicle directly in the cup. Let the popsicle melt a little bit and you are ready to taste! So cute and so delicious.
This next one tastes like actual summer in a cup...Watermelon Vodka Slushie.
Watermelon juice
Ice
Frozen pineapple
Vodka
Lime Juice

In a blender, combine the watermelon juice, ice, frozen pineapple, and vodka. I used the watermelon-cucumber juice from trader joes, but any brand will work just fine. Once blended, pour into the cup of your choice and garnish with a lime. Best if enjoyed while laying on a floatie in the pool.
This next one was inspired by a current instagram/Tiktok/Pinterest trend...Iced Kahlua Whipped Coffee. You will need:
Kahlúa
Milk of your choice
Instant coffee
Water
Sugar

Start by making your whipped coffee, just like they show you in the videos. Using a hand mixer, whip together the 1 TBSP instant coffee, 1 TBSP water, and 1 TBSP sugar (for one serving). After about 30 seconds, peaks will start to form and it will get a light brown color. Once it is super fluffy you are done mixing. In a glass full of ice, combine milk and one shot of Kahlúa. Top with the whipped coffee mixture and give it a stir. The perfect pick-me-up any time of day!
For our final cocktail, I bring you a delicious blend of sweet, sour, and salty with...a Blood Orange Margarita!
Blood orange juice-fresh is best
Lime juice
Triple Sec
Tequila
Salt or Sugar for the rim (optional)

Begin by adding sugar or salt around the rim of your glass. In a cocktail mixer, combine 2.5 ounces of tequila, 1.5 ounces of triple sec, 3 ounces of orange juice, and 1 ounce of lime juice. Give it a good shake and pour over ice. The option to blend with ice for a frozen marg is also acceptable. Serving size is for 2 cocktails. “Orange” you glad you can share one with a friend? Sorry not sorry for my dad-joke.
Well, 5 drinks in and I’m feeling great. I’m sure you all will be too. I can’t wait for you to try these. Let us know which one is your fav.
Cheers, babes.
